How to use Ladder Tape Ladder Tape works great on blinds and shades.  It is easy to retro fit the ladder tape to your shades or use it from the start.  Ladder Tape is easy to add and stacks up nicely.  You can use any size shade cord with ladder tape but our most popular shade cord is 1.4mm and coming in second is 1.8mm shade cord.
