Universal Cord Tension Device

After receiving and installing a new Universal Cord Tension Device in a friend’s kitchen, I decided to order another of the same color (off-white), so the Cord Tension Device on a nearby window shade would match the new one I had just installed. Shortly after ordering the second, off-white Cord Tension Device, the owner of Home Sewing Depot called to tell me that the off-white Cord Tension Devices were out of stock in her store because when she had ordered more from the manufacturer, they arrived defective, in that some of the internal parts were colored differently from the off-white exterior, and customers just wouldn’t want a bi-colored Cord Tension Device. She said she had plenty of all white Cord Tension Devices, so could send me a white one instead of the off-white one that I had ordered. When I responded that the shade cords were too close together for their Cord Tension Devices to be of two colors. She then made the remarkable offer to send me a second white one AT NO EXTRA CHARGE, so both window shades would look identical! A few days later, the two, all-white Cord Tension Devices arrived! She was trusting me to install both all-white Cord Tension Devices, and if I was happy with the appearance, I could pay her for the second one — which I did. But such a helpful and trusting online vendor is, sad to say, kind of a rarity, nowadays. I would heartily endorse the Home Sewing Depot as a reliable and honest source for any product they offer for sale!

The product was good. However, your shipping method was terrible - USPS. It was supposed to arrive on April 8 and we made a trip to the property to install it. It finally arrived April 11. Because this was for a vacation rental property, we had to return 4 hours away to install after it arrived.

Needed to replace a broken tension device. Easy to install and works like the original.

Prompt delivery. Works perfectly.

Satisfied enough that I will be making a second purchase.
