This tailored valance with gussets can be adapted to fit any size window. Our instructions are for a valance that is 40” finished width. The information needed to add or reduce the width is included. The finished length of the valance is approximately 20” at the swags and 22” at the gussets.
The Eleanor Valance Pattern includes instructions for making stationary side panels that consist of one width of fabric on each side. They are non-workable and each side panel covers about 12-18” of space. The length of the panels can be adapted to any length.
This valance and panels work best when constructed out of a medium-weight decorative fabric.
