Selenna Bag
I hope you will enjoy making Selena, a unique and stylish bag! Choose between two sizes, a crossbody or a tote. In addition, choose between three decorative strap options: the crossroads strap (fabric only), the butterfly (rectangle rings), or the basket weave strap (slider buckles). This stylish bag also features corner accents, an adjustable shoulder strap, exterior and interior pockets, and optional rivets. Make with quilter’s weight cotton, vinyl, cork, Kraft·Tex, or other bag materials. There is an option to quilt your bag as well!
I would recommend making the decorative straps from “specialty fabrics,” such as vinyl, cork, or Kraft·Tex, to ensure accuracy. However, I’ve included instructions for making the decorative straps from quilter’s weight cotton as well. Fusible fleece can be substituted with foam.
Crossbody measures 10” wide, 10” high, and 3” deep when finished. Tote measures 13” wide, 13” high, and 4” deep when finished.
