The Velocity 270IR’s patented built-in steam generator produces up to 55% more steam than traditional steam irons for perfect ironing in less time.


While traditional irons are prone to leaking and spitting, the Velocity irons use a patented 2-heating element and micro-pump technology that pre-heats the water and turns it into steam before it reaches the soleplate. The Velocity 270IR iron will give you perfect constant steam at even the lowest temperatures, yet are 100% safe for all fabrics.

Perfection!

This iron is well worth the cost. It produces enough steam to quickly flatten multiple-layered seams, removes wrinkles in moments from linen, cotton, quilts and heavy fabrics, and the pointed tip easily irons under buttons or in tight places.
Home Sewing Depot has the best customer service I’ve ever come across. Lisa called me immediately and took time to help me out.

Reliable Velocity iron review

I am very pleased with the new Reliable Velocity iron that I purchased from Home Sewing Depot. I have the previous versions of this iron and really like the improvements made to this model. This iron provides even steaming without drops or sputtering, and you can override the auto-shutoff feature for projects where the iron needs to stay on for longer periods of time.
