Myrna Crossbody Bag
Myrna is the enlarged version of the Zippy Crossbody Bag Pattern. So many Zippy Bag fans have been requesting a larger size. Myrna is the perfect size for traveling or everyday use. You’ll be surprised how much you can fit inside this bag!
This pattern features an adjustable crossbody strap, two exterior zipper pockets, an exterior slip pocket, boxed bottom, and is fully lined. The finished size of this bag is 9″ wide, 10″ high, and 1-1/2″ deep.
Included are step-by-step graphics to help make the written directions easier to understand. Also included are many sewing techniques and tips to help you achieve a quality, finished project. This pattern is designed to help you learn and expand your sewing skills!
Try using our Faux Metal Zippers by the Yard for this project! Easily cut and sew through the zipper’s nylon teeth, while achieving the appearance of metal teeth. Make three Myrna Bags from one package of Sallie Tomato Zippers by the Yard.
RECOMMENDED FABRICS: You can use quilt weight cotton, canvas, denim, or linen for the exterior. I recommend quilt weight cotton for the lining. Try using a fabric that doesn’t fray for the contrast such as cork, vinyl, kraft-tex, or leather. However, I’ve included instructions if you choose to use a cotton for the contrast.
